Age of WA\

Axial ages don't happen every century. The last one ran from 800 to 200 BCE. This one is happening now, and it already has dates on the calendar.

“Age of WA\ + Gen WA\ → Agency instead of another agent.”

The history of the universe folded into one year A ring stands for 13.8 billion years as one calendar year. It closes at midnight on 31 December, which is now. Inside, the last ten seconds of the year are drawn out: the Axial Age falls between about six and five seconds before midnight. 1 January, the beginning 31 December One year = 13.8 billion years One second ≈ 437 years The last ten seconds Axial Age −10 s −5 s Now 2030 is 7 milliseconds past now
Fold 13.8 billion years into one year, as Carl Sagan did. The ring closes at midnight on 31 December, which is now.

The lens

The age before this one

The last time humanity turned inward all at once was between 800 and 200 BCE: the Buddha, Confucius, Laozi, Socrates, the prophets of Israel, the Upanishads. In 1949 the philosopher Karl Jaspers named it the Axial Age. It has not happened again in more than two thousand years.

On Sagan's calendar the whole of it sits between about six and five seconds before midnight on 31 December. Everything written since fits in the last five.

It is happening again now. On this site it is called Atlas Awoke, the third axial age, and this time a machine stands in the room. The window is the interval between a machine first needing your judgment enough to pay for it and absorbing enough of it to stop paying. Refusal fails. Surrender fails. Convert.

WA\ through this lens

What an age asks for

An age turns on a question. This one is Who am I, asked by people who now share the room with machines that answer everything else. WA\ is built so the person keeps the answer.

The citizen
A citizen is a person who has verified they are human and owns their own ground. In an age of agents, the citizen is the one who decides.
The record
Every platform you have used keeps a page of your life. Metamorphosis brings those pages home through each platform's official export, and your Book of Life is written from them: add nothing, take nothing away.
The cube
Six services that work for you, each measured by a single number agreed before any work starts. The cube suggests a next move. You decide. That is agency instead of another agent.
The circle
A real business or community with its people around it, planted on ground it owns. Thirteen circles reaching each other without a headquarters form the cosmOS.
The currency
What flows between people: LUX, a light that shines; a Drop, a post that ripples; a Seed, growth that compounds.
Phone and portal
WA\ lives on your phone for the day. WA\WA\ is the portal on any computer, where you edit your site and read your whole Book. They stay in sync.
The Tree of Life
Roots $9 a month or $108 a year. Self $333. Seed $1,111. Sapling $3,333. Sequoia from $5,555. Sapphire $99 a month. Star and Serene free, forever. You pay for the next rung only when the last one produced.
The promise
A person checks the work: GOOD AS GOLD. No ads, ever. You can leave at any time and take all of it with you.

  2. Kārtika

Kārtika takes its name from the full moon beside the Kṛttikās, the same seven stars. On Kartik Purnima the full moon passes about one degree from them.

  3. The UN Water Conference

Abu Dhabi, co-hosted by the United Arab Emirates and Senegal. It is only the third UN Water Conference in almost 50 years, and the first led by two nations from the Global South. The WA\ Cup →

  4. The first 108

The first steps: 108 citizens running circles by the end of 2026, and 108,000 by the end of 2027. The first 108 are the Cosmopolitans, the founding citizens of the cosmOS.

One thing to do this week

Export, verify, then leave

The first Book of Life was written from its author's own exports. On 26 October 2026 he exported 423 files from the last platform he was renting a seat on, checked them against the Book, and only then closed the account. That order is the Book's first practice.

  1. Pick the platform where you rent the biggest seat.
  2. Download its official export.
  3. Check it before you decide anything else.
